C/u waterfall. (0.10) Jedburgh Hotel meeting of Edinburgh, Dumfries, and Hawick Cine societies. Rural location. Busy with people setting up and using camera equipment in the car park. Man mounting film camera on projector. Various members with their small gauge cameras. (0.53) C/u's old cars, 1930's style. (1.16) Members having picnics in the countryside, some seated, some in deckchairs. Boy throwing a frisbee, c/u small boy. (2.37) Man with tape deck, woman with microphone recording. Two men discussing scene to be filmed. Man with camera seated in back of car filming driver and passenger. Gv's members on roadside with cameras. Older car towing newer car into the distance. (3.52) Two men enjoying a beer. (3.58) Man with clipboard directing woman behind camera. Various people arguing about camera set-up and scene arrangement. (4.51) Another director arrives to take over and change plans. (5.24) The same director arrives at another scene to help but cameraman gets rid of him. The group begin to argue.
