Description: A delicate portrait of a mother and daughter's strained existence together in the Scottish countryside. Their relationship is charged with anger, tenderness and defiance as they struggle to find a sense of harmony. Their world has its own timeless desolation that subtly corresponds with the surrounding natural world. It is Daisy's birthday and the anticipated celebrations gradually crumble throughout the day. Following a series of traumatic incidents Louise nears breaking point. Yet, she eventually finds solace in the warmth of one look of love from her mother.
