Description: Celebrities at the Cinema Ball in Green's Playhouse, Glasgow in aid of charity.

1949 was the last Fancy Dress Ball, thereafter the event moved to the City Chambers subsequently becoming a dinner dance. Includes William Kempsell who was a member of the CEA Benevolent Fund Glasgow, and Secretary of the Glasgow Cinema Club. His advertising business agency was also involved in cinema advertising throughout Scotland.
