Shots of platform party in park (.14) Councillor Killoch presented Mrs Buchanan with a pair of gold scissors to cut the ribbon. Shots of same (.36) Mrs Buchanan formally opens the park by cutting a tartan ribbon. Shots of same (1.10) Mrs Buchanan presents Councillor Killoch with a halfpenny for the gold scissors to prevent them from cutting friendship. She was quite satisfied with the price. Mrs Buchanan and platform party (1.22) Councillor Killoch cannily explained the halfpenny and after remarking that it wasn't very bright said with truly Scottish caution "it seems to be a good one".
