The Scottish Aviation 'Prestwick Pioneer G-ANRG' aeroplane flying at Prestwick Airport. [Same footage is repeated five times].
Scottish Aviation designed and built the 'Prestwick Pioneer' five seater aeroplane capable of short take-off and landing. It first flew in 1947 and was invaluable in the subsequent campaigns in the Malayan jungle. It was followed by the 'Twin Pioneer', carrying 16 passengers, which first flew in 1955.
