Note from donor: '' ‘Strathclyde’: A film commissioned in 1974 by Geoff Shaw, Leader of Glasgow Corporation, who later became the first Convener of Strathclyde Regional Council. We filmed three schools and their catchment areas in what was to become Strathclyde as a focus for some of the issues that would affect the new region. The schools were Oban High School, Columba High School in Coatbridge and Irvine Royal Academy.''
