Film concerning an artists selection of a subject to paint in a picture and the subsequent painting of it.
A prizewinning film in the Scottish Amateur Film Festival of 1952 , winning the Marshall Sloan Prize - £2-2/-. Adjudicators comment -" This was a very interesting and attractive film. Greater care could, however, have been takn in lining up some of the shots of the painting."
