Description: Life is difficult enough for 15 year old Isla, living in cramped conditions with her mother, boyfriend and baby boy. Tensions start to rise when mum Ali starts flirting with boyfriend Gav. [synopsis from Scottish Screen brochure "New Films, New Talent, Best of Scottish Shorts 2006]

Comment from director, Amy Neil: ""I had an idea brewing about a love triangle for a long time and kept thinking about the claustrophobic situation the three of them are in. I wanted to look at relationships that were stuck and had nowhere positive to go. Casting was very interesting. Once Shirley Henderson had said yes I wanted to cast a daughter who would look very similar to her. Caroline, the casting director, came in to the office one day very flustered saying she had just chased a girl down the street. Luckily she came into for a casting and was so perfect it was uncanny. She had the perfect look." [from BBC Film Network website, no longer online]
